My story about the Fox Point Pool and when the Fox Point Pool is closed

The Fox Point Pool is closed right now, but I had a lot of fun at it this summer.  My dad took me there a lot, because my mom was pregnant and had to stay at home with Anna because she was napping.

When I was there with my daddy we swam, swam, swam, at the Fox Point Pool.  We practiced swimming, and we went for lots of pool rides.  Pool rides are when my dad takes me where I can't stand and swims around.  And sometimes we played that I was Ariel and he was Scuttle the seagull.

I had swimming lessons there, and I caught rings at the bottom of the pool.  I held my breath at swimming lessons for 7 baseball, 11 Easter, and 7 Martha.  That means everyone counts with whatever is our favorite thing while we hold our breath.  (1 baseball, 2 baseball, 3 baseball...)

Kate's creations: letters, shapes, and numbers

I had an idea when I was eating lunch last week.  I thought I could make numbers with my body.  I showed my mom in the kitchen.  Then later my mom took pictures of me.

My time ice skating with my dad

I went ice skating with my dad on Thursday, and it was really fun.  I would ice skate, ice skate, ice skate, then I'd put my feet together and slide.  I also put my legs back and forth when ice skating.  It's called a twizzle eight.  I also pushed my dad on the ice.  He'd hold my hand and I'd push him and he'd slide.  It was really fun ice skating.

My new babies

My new babies were born ten days ago.  They're really cute.

My mommy had the babies Wednesday, and I stayed with Oma and the next day I got to go visit my mom.  Luke was born first, and then four minutes later, Ally.  The babies had to go in the NICU, because they were early.  They came home Saturday.

I love my new babies.
