Monkey bars

I really wanted to learn how to do the monkey bars.  I kept on trying to do the triangle ones, because everyone else knew how.  But I was too scared.  Then I tried the bar ones, but I was too scared to do those going up.

Then one day, my mom picked me up from school and taught me how to do them.  She put me up to go on the bars going down, but I was too scared.  Then she put me just four from the end and I did them.  Then I did five.  Then I did six.  I was just zooming across.  Then I did seven, eight, nine, then ten!  That was then last one, so I did the monkey bars!

So, on Sunday, after we went to the Brewer's game, we went to the school playground.  I rode my bike there and showed my dad how I did the monkey bars.

When we were heading home, there was pouring rain.  Dad had to carry Anna and run the dog.  I had to ride my bike and I was pedaling as fast as I could.  Mommy had to push the stroller with the babies in it.  We were soaking wet when we got home.  Luckily, I wasn't, because my helmet kept my hair dry!

My playdate with Tanner

One day we picked my friend Tanner up from the Y at my school so he could come over for a playdate at my house.  First we took him inside.  We took off our shoes and went to play Lego downstairs.

Then my mom asked if we wanted to go outside and play with Connor.  We did so we went outside. First we played a little catch.  Then we played on the bronco rider.  Then after that we played baseball.

Then we went inside and did a project.  We made lions and jungles out of cupcake wrappers, glittery markers, and leaves from flowers.

Then we played princesses and then we took out some games we didn't know how to play.  Then we played ponies a little while and then we played Lego.

Then my mom came down and told us to clean up.  Anna was not that good, but me and Tanner were cleaning up fast because we knew it was time to eat lunch.

After we ate lunch, we had a few minutes to play and then we had to get our shoes on to take me and Tanner to school.

It was a fun day!

Tying Shoes

On Mother's Day, I was going to Trader Joes with my mom and I wanted to wear my All Stars and I wanted to learn how to tie them, so my mom showed me how.  It took me a second to learn how!

So, after that, my dad was outside, so I ran out and said, "I need my shoes tied." so I could tease my dad.  He first tried to tie them, but I said, "Let go."  Then I sat down and started to tie them.

My dad then had to run to his work, so I stayed outside on the grass and practiced while my mom did some stuff!

After my dad came home, I went to Trader Joes with my mom, and I tied my shoes while I was in the cart, just because they came untied.
