Lemonade stand

I had a lemonade stand.  We sold the lemonade for 25 cents per cup.  The lemonade was really good.  It was made from sugar, water, and lemon juice.

Oma was there, and she told me to wave the sign in front of the cars.  It was so hot!  I told my neighbors to come so they could buy lemonade.  And I sold lemonade to the mail man.

Anna saw a girl who was going to K4 next year, just like her.  Her name was Sasha.  She took a lot of pictures of her, and use loved Sasha.  They bought lemonade at our lemonade stand.

I sold a lot of lemonade.  The profits were for charity.   We used the charity money to buy a special summer treat for kids at the Joy House.  We got them ice cream treats.  We also gave some of our toys to them.

Tea Party

I had a tea party.  I invited three of my friends from school, and also Anna, of course.  I invited Charlotte M., Charlotte G., and Kylie.

Kylie was a little late, because her Dad had forgotten, but they still came.

While we were waiting for Kylie, we made wands.  Kylie still got to make wands after we had tea and parfaits.  We had to get our tea clothes on, which was dress up.  Kylie didn't want to dress up.

After we had tea and parfaits, we decorated crowns and played a little.  Then we went outside and played and also got face paint.

Making my own dress

I made my own dress!  It is a sun dress. It's green with big and small flowers/  There are flowers with pink petals and yellow middles, flowers with purple petals and yellow middles, and flowers with yellow petals and purple middles.

I used a sewing machine to make it.  My mom cut the straps and I sewed them onto the dress.  I also sewed the back so the dress would stay together.  I also sewed the hem, but it went up and down instead of being straight.  I kind of did a terrible job on that.

I was going to wear the dress for the rehearsal dinner for Uncle J.J. and Aunt Jen's wedding, but it was too cold.
