In the Dells

We went to the Dells! We stade with my Grandma and Grandpa, Aunt Jen, Uncle Mike, Aunt Christine, Anna, Luke, Ally, Mom, Dad, Eric, Adam, and Laura.  We had two houses.  The first house when we got there, we had to go shopping to get stuff.  Then when we got back, everyone but my mom and me, Laura, Anna, Adam, and the twins went on a tour, and while they were gone, we rode bikes.  When they got back, we found a circle of houses, and we rode around there.

Laura, Anna, and I shared a room in the basement.  It was freezing.  Grandma and Aunt Jen slept in the room next to us.

The next day was the fourth of July.  Uncle Al and Aunt Marilyn came and all the cousins, except for Luke and Ally, (and Uncle Mike, Aunt Christine, and Eric hadn't come yet) we had a bike show.  Except for Mommy slept through it because she was tired and fell asleep putting Ally down for her nap.
That night we went to see the fireworks, except it took a while because we had to find a good angle to see them at.

It wasn't actually cold, there were just so many mosquitos!
The next day we spent the morning packing, because we had to switch houses.  We tried to go on a walk, except it was so hot and we couldn't find our way because we took a wrong turn.  So we went to the swimming pool, and then Grandma and Aunt Jen got the keys for our new house.  It was SO close to the swimming pool.
We took a really, really bubbly hot bath.  It was bubbly because Mommy had washed us before the water had filled enough to turn on the jets and the soap made it all bubbly.  We had to rinse off in the shower after we took a bath because the soap was all over us!  It was crowded, so crowded!

Tea with friends

I had tea parties during some play dates.  The first one, we had scones, apples, and tea.  At the second one, we had cinnamon rolls, tea, and apples.

My Mommy wanted to take a picture, and we had to pretend we were sipping tea, except for Greta was pouring her tea all over the floor when she was pretending to sip, and she didn't notice!

The tea set was a fancy tea set from my Mommy's great grandma.  It is from the 1960's.  That means it is 50 years old.

The first tea party was with Xavier, Scarlett, me, and my sister Anna, and the second was with Greta, me, and my sister Anna.

They were very, very fun!

Bailey

My family is getting a dog on April 13.  She is golden retriever girl.  Her name is going to be Bailey.  We were thinking of naming her Maeby, but we say "maybe" too much in this family, and that would confuse her.  She is going to be 7 1/2 weeks when we get her.  She's only 4 weeks now.  I can't wait to get her.

My trophy

I'm getting a trophy from piano.  I needed 5 more points to get 15, and I got them, and I'm so excited.  It's my first trophy ever.

I got the other 10 points from my last two years.  And I'm the first person my piano teacher Ms. Otto teaches to get a superior for 5 points for three years in a row.

I had to work really hard to memorize both my songs.  One of them was twice my level, but I memorized them both.

My mom didn't think I would probably get it, but I was so excited when my mom told me.  The first time I was like, "What?"  And then when I heard, I was so excited.  My dad heard it and he came running in from the other room.
I will put a picture of the real trophy when I get it, but for now, here's a picture of a trophy.

Willow

My family got a new rabbit named Willow. She is a holland lop. She is 2 months and 16 days old.  Her birthday is December 9, right after mine.

She is the most softest thing in the whole wide world.  She's very light, and I can hold her.  Rabbits don't bite like hamsters.

Author's festive

I went to an author's festival with my mommy.  We had breakfast there.  It was the day we were going to the waterpark for Anna's birthday.  First Jack Gantos talked to us about himself.  Then we split up into groups.  First I went to see Dan Greenberg.  He talked to us about all his books and how he decided to write them, and he gave us clues about how to write.  Then we went to see his wife J.C. Greenberg.  She talked to us about what she likes, and that's why she writes about them.  I got my picture taken with Dan Greenberg, and I asked a question of J.C. Greenberg.  I got two of my books signed by Dan Greenberg and Jack Gantos.  I had lots of fun!
