Super Reader

At Barnes and Noble bookstore, there was a reading challenge, and you would get a free book if you completed one of the forms.  I did two, so I got two free books, but we pretended one was Anna's, because you couldn't get two free books at once.

At the library, there was a reading program, too.  You had to read 18 half-hours and you would get little prices, like free stuff or tickets to stuff, but if you finish all of the program, you get a free book.  If you finish a half hour, you get small stuff.  But if you finish five, you get a prize out of the treasure chest, and if you finish 10, you get a prize out of the treasure chest.

I finished the whole program, and then I got to go on to a challenge program.  I had to read a new non-fiction, a classic, and books that I don't normally read.  I had to read a historical fiction, but I always read historical fiction, because I'm always reading Magic Tree House, which is historical fiction.  I finished the challenge program, so I'm going to go to the library soon and see what I get!

  1. It is nice to read all your blogs. You hadn't posted in so long that I quit checking. I'm impressed with all the reading you do,and so glad that you enjoy it. I'm thinking that you'd probably do all the reading even without rewards, but aren't those gifts nice?

  3. What a reader you are. Mary Pope Osborne is going to have to get busy writing more Magic Tree House books to keep up with how fast you read them! Historical fiction has always been my favorite type of book to read. I also love mysteries. A to Z Mysteries or Calendar Mysteries may be fun series to try too. Keep up with all of that reading!!!
